Wireless Developer gains support from Innovation and Technology Fund

Hong Kong, 1 Oct 2004 – Specialized in developing online mobile applications, M-Gen Mobile Technology Ltd. (M-Gen) was supported by Small Entrepreneur Research Assistance Programme (SERAP) in 2004. SERAP, offered by Innovation and Technology Fund, is a program for pre-venture capital stage financing of technology entrepreneurs to start-up, implement Research and Development (R&D), and conduct market validation. With this financial foundation, M-Gen can allocate more resources on R&D activities by reducing capital expenditure in its vulnerable inception stages.

Founded in September 2004, M-Gen pioneers the development of M-Gen Mobile Applications Platform (MAP), a unified common interface for all mobile phones. This proprietary platform helps simplify the developmental procedure of multi-player mobile online application and shorten the time costs incurred. SERAP can provide venture support for M-Gen to further develop its technology-based business.
